Kami Painter. Partner - CPA, MS

Kami is a Partner at Muret CPA, PLLC, with extensive experience in audit, assurance, and tax services. She earned both her Bachelor of Science and Master of Science in Accounting from Oklahoma State University and is a licensed Certified Public Accountant. Kami is an active member of the Oklahoma Society of Certified Public Accountants (OSCPA) and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). Since beginning her career in 2005, Kami has provided audit and assurance services for a diverse range of clients, including those in the oil and gas industry, governmental agencies, HUD and NAHASDA programs, and entities subject to Uniform Guidance (A-133). Her experience also includes employee benefit plan audits, such as 401(k) and 403(b) plans, as well as health and welfare plans. Additionally, she has served clients in the nonprofit, construction, transportation, and engineering sectors. Kami has provided tax services throughout her tenure at Muret CPA and, since 2022, has transitioned her primary focus to tax preparation and strategic planning for both business and individual clients, including representing clients in matters with the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) and Oklahoma Tax Commission (OTC). Kami joined Muret CPA in November 2008 and has been instrumental in delivering high-quality client service and building long-term relationships. In recognition of her professional achievements and leadership, she was named an OSCPA Trailblazer honoree in 2011.
